A new glass clock in my Etsy shop!
This clock is made in traditional Russian style using Khokhloma ornament.
This traditional Russian pattern originates exactly from the region where I live - the Nizhniy Novgorod region located by the river Volga. Khokhloma ornament is said to appear in the 17th century.
Originally, Khokhloma is a wood painting handicraft style used for tableware. Since it's the 21st century now, I've decided to put it on glass and to make a clock)).
